Biography

Catherine "Cathie" R. Kohler, age 59, of Highland Park, died on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born in New Brunswick, she had lived in Highland Park since 1979. Cathie loved cooking but most of all she loved sharing time with her family.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Paul Manfre.

Cathie is survived by her husband, Raymond C. Kohler, two daughers, Michelle Torsiello and her husband, Michael Torsiello, Jr. and Erika Kohler, a son, Thomas Kohler and his wife, Tiffany, her mother, Eleanor Manfre, two brothers, Craig Manfre and his wife, Darlene, and Paul Manfre and his wife, Nanette, and seven grandchildren, Marissa, Michael, Vanessa, Ava, Michael and Alexa.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. (www.jkfuneralhome.com) A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
