Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Carmen A. Torres Rodriguez, quien partió de este mundo el 17 de Mayo de 2026, a la edad de 61 años. Carmen nació el 11 de Diciembre de 1964 en San José de las Matas y era oriunda de Magua, República Dominicana, antes de hacer de los Estados Unidos su hogar en 1996.

Carmen pasó la mayor parte de su vida en New Brunswick, donde construyó una vida llena de amor, fortaleza y dedicación hacia su familia y comunidad. Será recordada por su gran corazón, su resiliencia, su calidez humana y el amor que brindó a todos los que la rodeaban. Su presencia llevaba consuelo y alegría a muchos, y su recuerdo vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la conocieron y amaron.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Carmen A. Torres Rodriguez, who departed from this world on May 17, 2026, at the age of 61. Carmen was born on December 11, 1964, in San José de las Matas and was originally from Magua, Dominican Republic, before making the United States her home in 1996.

Carmen spent most of her life in New Brunswick, where she built a life full of love, strength, and dedication toward her family and community. She will be remembered for her great heart, her resilience, her warmth, and the love she gave to all those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many, and her memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her sisters, family and loved ones who will miss her deeply and will forever cherish the memories shared with her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, May 25, 2026 between the hours of 3 pm and 7 pm at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ. A Mass of the Christian burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 75 Morris Street, New Brunswick, NJ at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest at Saint Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ
