Anne Marie (Bachety) Reff

Anne Reff, 83, of Highland Park, NJ, passed away on September 15, 2023 in New Brunswick. She was born on May 24, 1940, in Queens, New York.

Anne was the beloved wife of the late Frank Reff Jr. and the loving mother of Robert Cahill (Laura), Frank Cahill, Joanne Tshoi (Frank), and Donna Kasapidis (Antonios), and the loving grandmother to Michael Cahill (Samantha), Nicholas Cahill, Christopher Tshoi, Matthew Tshoi and Emily Tshoi. She recently became a great-grandmother to Raylan. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Christina Bachety son Dennis Cahill, Brothers Joseph Bachety, John Bachety, James Bachety, Frank Bachety.

Anne had a fulfilling career with the Borough of Highland Park, where she dedicated many years of service. She started her career as a Court Administrator and retired as a records clerk with the Police Department in 2012. She was highly regarded by her colleagues and made significant contributions to the community.

In her free time, Anne cherished moments spent with her family. She particularly enjoyed taking trips over the years to Atlantic City with her husband Frank. Anne also found joy in jigsaw puzzles, listening to her favorite music, watching crime shows and sharing her time with her beloved cat, Kitty. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love for her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 between 3 pm and 7 pm at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home in Highland Park, NJ 08904. Funeral Services will be on September 21st at 10 am at the funeral home followed by her burial next to her husband at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway NJ.

Parking is available immediately behind the funeral home and along S. Adelaide Avenue.
