Anna Chek Carkhuff, age 90, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home in Piscataway, N.J. Born in Woodbridge, she lived in Highland Park for many years before moving to South Brunswick and Franklin Park. Anna was a very active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Highland Park. She served as the past president of the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Cranberry Lake Community Club. Anna was an owner of Carkhuff's Casual Center in South Brunswick.
