Mary Marie (DeFrancesco) Eichen

Mary "Marie" Eichen, age 94, passed away at her home after a short illness surrounded by her family.

Mary was born in Monmouth Junction, NJ and moved to Highland Park at the age of 17.  She purchased a home in nearby Edison and remained there the remainder of her life.  She was a seamstress for a company on Jersey Avenue in New Brunswick, NJ.

Mrs. Eichen is predeceased by her husband, George, in 2008.

Mary is survived by her son, David, and his wife Deslie of North Brunswick, NJ, a daughter, Barbara Girvan, and her companion John, another daughter, Judy Dilshiemer of Philadelphia, PA, another son Barry and his wife Kim of Warren, NJ and another son, Jerry and his wife, Wendy of Flemington, NJ.  Mary has two sisters, Josephine Nobel, of Highland Park, Angie Kish, of Edison, and a brother Pat DeFrancesco, of North Brunswick.  Mary is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with another great child due in two weeks.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of the Christian Burial on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10 am at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish (St. Paul the Apostle Church) located at Raritan Avenue at the corner of S 6th Avenue, Highland Park, NJ.  She will be interred next to her husband at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, New Jersey.

There is no visitation at the funeral home.
