Margarer Szur

Margaret P. Szur, age 97, of Highland Park, died on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born in New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Csehi. She was a lifelong resident of Highland Park and was a communicant at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park.

Margaret had worked at Squibb many years ago and later as a long distance operator for New Jersey Bell in New Brunswick where she retired from several years ago.

Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband, Gaza “Gus” Szur, a daughter, Judith Ann Szur and her son, John “Jack” Szur.

She is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Kent of Maryland, her son, Richard Davis of Trenton, her brother, William and his wife, Elizabeth, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
