Lynn Elizabeth Buzbee

Lynn Elizabeth Buzbee, age 50, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. Born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, NY, she resided for many years in Marblehead, Massachusetts before moving to Highland Park three years ago. She attended Kirkland College and the University of Vermont and for several years worked with abused children in Burlington, Vermont before moving to Marblehead where she was employed for a number of years by an organization that provided help to abused women and their children. In addition, she worked in a similar capacity for the City of Lynn, Massachusetts.
After moving to Highland Park, Ms. Buzbee was employed as a free lance consultant to the Nomura Research Institute.
She was pre-deceased by her mother, Ellen Wade Buzbee in 2004.
She is survived by her father, John Buzbee, of New York City, her brothers, Stephen, of Highland Park, and William, of Atlanta, Georgia, and by her nieces, Tian and Seana, of Atlanta and her nephew, John, of Highland Park.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Christ Episcopal Church, 5 Paterson Street, New Brunswick under the direction of the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Defense Fund, 25 E Street, Washington, DC 20001.
