Asian Indian (Hindu) Funerals

The process starts with a consultation with the family to determine their wishes and their religious observance. The family can refer the funeral home to their Hindu priest or pandit or we can supply one for the ceremonies. The body is dressed in traditional clothing and placed in a container for suitable cremation. Sacred symbols – such as flowers and spices – can also be included in the container. The funeral home also can supply a biodegradable container to scatter the remains.
